It is with pleasure that that we congratulate our newest PhD success – Dr Rhiannon Bezore – who’s final degree has just been signed off.
Rhiannon’s PhD is titled
“The morphology and evolution of rock coasts over eustatic cycles in temperate, wave dominated environments”,
with a highlight of her project being the discovery of the Drowned Apostles which received global media coverage, led the front page of all major Australian newspapers and resulted in multiple TV interviews. It also led to her nomination for the Victorian Young Achiever Award.
Her project also was a significant contributor to the receipt of a Victorian Coastal Council Award for Outstanding Achievement in Partnerships in Research & Monitoring, between us, Deakin University & Parks Victoria.
Rhiannon was co-supervised by A/Prof Daniel Ierodiaconou from Deakin University.
